Window Size Too Large or Too SmallThe first time you start Daqarta, it fills the screen as much as possible. It does this by adjusting the main and dialog font sizes, which Windows uses to scale control sizes as well as text. Note that this is not the same as resizing the main window by dragging the lower right corner, which changes the window size without changing the size of the controls or trace area. Daqarta retains these font settings until you change them from the Start Preferences dialog. The main Daqarta window size is proportional to the main font size, and dialog size is proportional to the dialog font size. Note: Changes to these parameters do not take effect until the next Daqarta session. Note: If you start Daqarta after a big increase in font size and can't see the default Generator dialog, hit the F9 function key to open the Volume Sliders dialog. It will usually appear at the upper right. Then drag it by its title bar and close it. The Generator dialog will then appear at that location, as will any other main control dialogs, including Start Preferences for changing the fonts. (The dragging is important, even if you just drag it back and forth to the same spot.) Note: In 640x480 mode the default size is the minimum possible (font size = 8), but the main window is too large to see Labels and Fields below the Notes area. Although unseen, you can still send data to these via macros. If you save a .DQA file, those Labels and Fields can be seen later on any system with a higher screen resolution.
