Velocity Pattern Character TableThe following table shows the MIDI velocity values that correspond to each Velocity Pattern character. For characters that encode velocity ranges, the second column shows the equivalent Velocity Pattern character range, and the third column gives the MIDI velocity range. The velocity is randomly chosen from this range each time the note is played. Fixed-velocity:
8 = 127
7 = 112
6 = 96
5 = 80
4 = 64
3 = 48
2 = 32
1 = 16
0 = 0 (Off)
1-digit ranges:
a = 7-8 = 112-127
b = 6-7 = 96-112
c = 5-6 = 80-96
d = 4-5 = 64-80
e = 3-4 = 48-64
f = 2-3 = 32-48
g = 1-2 = 16-32
h = 0-1 = 0-16
2-digit ranges:
i = 6-8 = 96-127
j = 5-7 = 80-112
k = 4-6 = 64-96
l = 3-5 = 48-80
m = 2-4 = 32-64
n = 1-3 = 16-48
o = 0-2 = 0-32
3-digit ranges:
p = 5-8 = 80-127
q = 4-7 = 64-112
r = 3-6 = 48-96
s = 2-5 = 32-80
t = 1-4 = 16-64

w = 3-7 = 48-112
x = 2-6 = 32-96
y = 1-5 = 16-80
z = 0-4 = 0-64
5-digit ranges:
A = 3-8 = 48-127
B = 2-7 = 32-112
C = 1-6 = 16-96
D = 0-5 = 0-80
6-digit ranges:
E = 2-8 = 32-127
F = 1-7 = 16-112
G = 0-6 = 0-96
7-digit ranges:
