Trigger Toggle From Dialog

Macro: Trig

This button duplicates the Trigger button on the toolbar. You can activate both with ALT+T. When Trigger is active, Daqarta waits to display data until the selected trigger criteria are met ( Slope, Level, Source, etc.).

You will probably want to run in Triggered mode while viewing repetitive waveforms, since for most sample rates they would otherwise roll by too fast to see.

Triggering typically makes no significant difference for a Spectrum display.

When the Single button below Trigger is active, the Trigger button changes to Trig Arm. Each time you hit Trig Arm, it stays active only until a trigger event is found; then the next frame is acquired and and the display is Paused.

Note that Pause mode only halts the display; Generator output continues unaffected, as does any DDisk recording in progress.

Macro Notes:

Trig=1 activates Trigger mode, Trig=0 turns it off, and Trig=x toggles between on and off.
