Reset Phase On Sweep

When a frequency sweep starts the first time, the main wave begins at the Phase setting and continues from there. But you can control what happens on subsequent sweeps.

When this control is on, each sweep will start at exactly the same phase. If you set Sweep Sync, and use Gen Sync with Trigger active, a display of the output will appear frozen.

When this control is off, each sweep will start at whatever phase the main wave had when the prior sweep ended. With Sweep Sync active, the trace will roll continuously even though the start of the sweep is indeed at the display sync point. This might be useful to distinguish between response components that are sensitive or insensitive to phase at a given instantaneous frequency.


Macro Notes:

L.1.ToneRstSweep=1 will cause the Left Stream 1 Tone Phase to be reset at the start of each sweep. L.1.ToneRstSweep=0 cancels that, and L.1.ToneRstSweep=x toggles it on and off.
