TimPanic.DQM MIDI Setup
When this setup is loaded, right-clicking on the Pitch-to-MIDI title bar or any non-control portion of the dialog will open Help at this topic. TimPanic.DQM uses Timpani (47) with Scale set to Chromatic (all notes) and +/-Note at -21. Tempo is 600 BPM. Track Min-Max range is about 200-500 Hz. With proper Track Threshold adjustment, this setup can be used in either DaqMusiq or KaleidoSynth mode. There is no Changes script. This setup is identical to HornTalk.DQM with the exception of the Instrument selection (Timpani instead of English Horn). The default setup produces an energetic percussion performance. In DaqMusiq mode, try setting Track Max to higher values to get a wider pitch range. (KaleidoSynth may be less successful, since speaker and room response tend to control the results.) For a more musical performance, try setting Tempo to 300 BPM, Track Min-Max to 200-2000 Hz, and Scale to Pentatonic Major. Try experimenting with different Scales and Track Min-Max ranges.
