The Daqarta installation file (DHsetup.EXE or DWsetup.EXE) that you download from the Daqarta Website (www.daqarta.com) is digitally signed and certified to be virus-free. It does not install "adware", "spyware", or any other programs on your computer.

Daqarta never connects to the Internet, neither during installation nor operation, unless you specifically request it via the Check for Updates or Contact Us selections in the Help Menu, or you activate Auto-Update Check in the Edit Menu - Start Preferences dialog, or you create and run your own update check macro using Posn?U.

If you purchase Daqarta, your contact information will be used to send you a license key via Email. It will also be included on the Daqarta Email update list, which is used to notify you of new releases and bug fixes.

You can opt out of the update list at any time by sending a request via the Contact page at www.daqarta.com, or replying to any update announcement.

If you do not purchase Daqarta you can request to be included on the update list via the check-box on the Contact page.

In any case, your contact information will never be used for any other purpose, nor will it ever be released to any third party for any reason.

You may use the Contact page to ask questions about Daqarta, or about data acquisition and instrumentation in general. Information you provide about your products or research projects as a result of such discussions will be held in strictest confidence, protected as trade secrets, and never disclosed to any third party for any reason, unless you explicitly state otherwise.
