Voltmeter Peak-Peak

Macro: VoltMode=Peak

The Voltmeter Pk-Pk (Peak-to-Peak) option finds the largest positive and negative peaks in the selected trace waveform and reports the voltage difference between them. This is essentially the same reading you would get by manually positioning the solid and dotted cursors at those peaks and using the Delta readout mode, but here the peaks are found automatically. This works even with Trigger off, where the trace is not stable enough to position the cursors manually.

Peak-Peak mode is unaffected by the Data Zero options.


Macro Notes:

VoltMode=Peak or VoltMode=1 sets the Voltmeter to Peak-to-Peak mode. See Macro Notes under Voltmeter RMS for the complete list of mode names and numbers.
