Pitch Track On/Off Controls: Sgram/PT Dialog >> Pitch Track
This button toggles Pitch Track operation on or off. When Pitch Track is active, a piano-style keyboard display replaces the full-spectrum spectrogram and shows a single line representing the real-time pitch of the incoming signal. Note that the eXpand button state and Max and Min controls above the Pitch Track button are maintained separately from the normal Spectrogram. When you toggle Pitch Track on or off, the state and limits change accordingly. Macro Notes: PitchTrk=1 sets Pitch Track on, PitchTrk=0 forces it off, and PitchTrk=x toggles the current state. When Pitch Track is active, Posn?F returns the tracked frequency, Posn?N returns the corresponding MIDI note number, Posn?V returns the peak magnitude (scaled such that 2^30 is 100% of the full-scale range), and Posn?v returns the corresponding MIDI velocity. Posn?P returns a count of the number of above-threshold events. See also Pitch Track Toolbox - Overview, Spectrogram / Pitch Track Controls, Spectrogram / Pitch Track (Sgram/PT) ![]() |
