Input ToggleMacro: Input This button in the Daqarta toolbar activates sound card input operations. You may also use ALT+I. In order for Input to be successfully toggled on, either Left or Right (or both) inputs must be selected in the Input Control Dialog. Otherwise, that dialog will open and 'Select Left and/or Right Input channel' will be shown on the message line. When Input and Generator (output) are active at the same time, it is referred to as "full-duplex" operation. Most modern sound cards are capable of this. If yours is not, then toggling Input on will force Generator off and disable it, and vice-versa. This control is disabled after the free trial period expires, unless a paid license key is present. With Input disabled, most other Daqarta functions will continue to work, including Generator output. You are welcome to use Daqarta in this mode for as long as you like. Note: On Vista and later systems, you can toggle Input on to view any file currently playing in Windows Media Player (or equivalent), and it will be treated like a "live" input. This will work even for file types that Daqarta can't open itself, such as MP3 and MID files. On XP systems, your sound card will need to support 'Stereo Mix' or 'What You Hear', and you'll need to select that as an Input line. Note: On Vista or later systems, if the Input button is disabled when Daqarta starts (and the free trial period has not expired), it means that Windows reported that there is no input device. Plug a cable into Line In or Mic In and restart Daqarta. Macro Notes: Input=1 turns the Input on, as long as at least one of the Left or Right buttons are selected in the Input Control Dialog. You can insure this by always giving InL and/or InR commands before the Input command. Input=0 turns the Input off, and Input=x toggles between on and off. ![]() |
