DAT Sample Rate Controls: DD/Open >> DAT Format >> Sample Rate
Since a .DAT-type file doesn't have a header that Daqarta can use to determine the sample rate that was used to acquire the data, you can use this control to force an arbitrary rate. The default value is 48000 samples per second. The .DAT Sample Rate setting doesn't affect the appearance of the waveform or its spectrum, but it does affect the X-axis calibration. The minimum rate you can set here is 120 Hz. However, note that the overall effective rate includes the Decimate X control just below this, which acts like a divisor. So if your raw data was sampled at (say) 64 Hz you could set .DAT Sample Rate to 640 and Decimate X to 10. That will result in the correct 64 Hz X-axis calibration for both time and frequency.
