Spectrogram Pitch Track Key Colors

Controls: Sgram/PT Dialog >> Colors >> White/Black Keys
Macros: SgWhtRed, Grn, Blu; SgBlkRed, Grn, Blu

These controls set the colors for the "White key" and "Black key" stripes shown as the screen background during Spectrogram Pitch Track mode. The default colors are actually gray and black, which provide good contrast for most signals using the default Spectrogram palette. You may set them to any colors you choose.

Daqarta retains these color settings across sessions; they are not included Spectrogram Palette (.PAL) files, so they don't change automatically when you load a new palette.

These two colors temporarily replace the bottom two colors of the Spectrogram working palette when Pitch Track is active. You may be able to notice them at the bottom of the color bar at the right end of the spectrogram trace area, especially if you use colors that contrast with the usual bottom colors. The Palette Color Bar is not affected.

The equivalent color of the Track Threshold level is shown above the key colors for reference, to aid in adjustment. This is the same as the Threshold color status box in the Pitch Track section of the Spectrogram control dialog.

Macro Notes:

SgWhtRed=128 Sets the White key Red component to 128. SgWhtRed=>1 increments the component and SgWhtRed=>-1 decrements it.

Similarly, SgWhtGrn and SgWhtBlu control the Green and Blue components of the White key color, while SgBlkRed, SgBlkGrn, and SgBlkBlu control the Red, Green, and Blue components of the Black key color.
