DDisk Write Triggered Start Controls: DDisk Dialog >> Triggered Start
When the Triggered Start button is active, DDisk recording does not start as soon as you hit the Record button or INS key, but waits until the next Trigger event arrives. (The button will appear to go down and bounce back up, then after the Trigger it will automatically go down and show the red 'recording' square.) You can use this with PreStart to start the recording a specified interval before the trigger event. Triggered Start is especially useful with Trigger Mode set to Normal (so the system will wait indefinitely for the trigger event) for sound-activated recording. You can also use it with Normal or Gen Sync mode to capture a Generator waveform that starts at a defined point on the wave. This is a convenient way to create specialized Arb Wave files; see Creating Arb Files with the Generator. Macro Notes: DDiskTrig=1 sets Triggered Start mode, DDiskTrig=0 cancels it, and DDiskTrig=x toggles the current mode. See also Direct-To-Disk (DDisk) Toggle, DDisk Controls Dialog ![]() |
